About
Nick Rosenoer is a Jewish photographer and tattooist from the Bay Area, California. Working in documentary, his work emphasises rhythm, gesture, and ambiguity.
In 2023, he began In Velt Oys Velt, a long-term project documenting the Haredi community of Stamford Hill, London.

In 2025, he traveled to Azerbaijan to create White Apple Red Village, a lyrical documentary exploring the world’s last shtetl (Jewish village) in the Diaspora, and its unusually harmonious relationship with neighboring Muslim communities.

Rosenoer began his MA in Photography at the Royal College of Art in 2024. His work has been published by the British Journal of Photography, the British Cultural Archive, the Jewish Chronicle, and Jewish Renaissance. In 2025, he received the Artful Dodgers Darkroom Award, was published in the Source Magazine Graduate Edition, and was published in Portrait of Britain Vol. 8.
Nick is currently represented by Cicek Gallery in London.
